You may be aware of what the Juliet® or Romeo® High-Definition cutters can do: from incredible accuracy to high-speed cuts, these machines were built so that ANYONE can craft like a professional!
But what you may not know is that a lot of these cutters’ impressive functionality comes from the meticulously designed tools and accessories we created just for them. Whether it’s blades, adapters, cutting mats, or another tool, adding accessories to your Romeo or Juliet can expand your creative potential even further.
This is your guide to Romeo and Juliet Cutter Accessories!
The Tools & Accessories
Standard Cutting Blades
Let’s start with the basics. Every Romeo and Juliet comes packaged with two 45° cutting blades and one 60° cutting blade. What’s the difference between these two and when should you use one over the other?
The 45° blades will be your “general use” tool for most projects. These blades are able to cleanly slice through most HTV, EasyPSV® (decal vinyl), paper, and other thin materials.

The 60° blade on the other hand is intended to be used for thicker materials. Use the 60° for HTVs like Brick® 600 or StripFlock® Pro, or for thicker cardstocks. It’s also a great choice when you’re cutting extremely fine detail on thinner products, like EasyWeed®. The fine tip helps cleanly cut those intricate lines!

Deep Cut Blade
Now what’s the solution when you want to cut materials *even thicker* than what the 60° blade allows? Simple: the Deep Cut Blade!
As the name implies, the Deep Cut Blade allows you to get the deepest cut possible with Romeo and Juliet for those extra thick products. The extended cutting surface of the blade allows you to slice through materials up to 1.7mm thick, like leather, magnet material, foam, and even chipboard!

The Deep Cut Blade is also designed to last longer, meaning you can cut thicker materials for longer before needing a replacement. Want to learn more? Watch Patrick’s live replay of the Deep Cut Blade here!
PRO TIP: Each blade type comes with a color-coded rubber cover for protection:
45° Blade: Red
60° Blade: Blue
Deep Cut Blade: Green
Hang on to these covers and replace them on your blades when not in use so you can identify them easier!
Blade Holder
All these blades are great, but you wouldn’t get very far with them without the help of the Blade Holder! Included with every Romeo and Juliet, this shiny accessory is what allows your cutter to wield the blades mentioned above so you can actually cut material.
40°, 60°, and Deep Cut Blades all drop into the opening on the bottom of the Blade Holder and are secured in place magnetically. A simple push of the plunger at the top of the Blade Holder ejects the blade.

The Blade Holder was also designed to function similarly to the blade systems in commercial cutters. The top dial twists to extend and retract the blade, while the bottom dial will lock it in place. This system allows you to get the exact blade length you need every time!
Now, let’s take a break from talking about blades and look at the other tools Romeo and Juliet can utilize.
Marker Adapter
Romeo and Juliet are indeed called “cutters”, but did you know they can do so much more than just cut? With the handy Marker Adapter (which is included with every Siser cutter), you can turn your cutting machine into a precise drawer!
Simply remove the blade holder from the tool holder and drop the marker adapter in. Then insert a Siser Sublimation Marker and you’re ready to write, draw, and doodle!

Watch the short tutorial for setting up and using the Marker Adapter here!
Note: The Marker Adapter was specifically designed to hold the Siser Sublimation Markers, but with a little bit of tweaking, you can also get other writing utensils to fit.
Easy® Crease Tool
Speaking of doing more than just cutting… the Easy Crease Tool is the ultimate add-on for Romeo and Juliet when you want to “make an impression” (see what I did there?).
Just like the Marker Adapter, the Easy Crease Tool drops right into the tool holder on your cutter. Featuring two pointed tips (both are the same, so just choose your favorite), this tool allows you to effortlessly crease paper products without worrying about piercing all the way through.

The Easy Crease Tool is perfect for making cards and 3D papercrafts which you can find in the Design Library of Leonardo® Design Studio.

The Easy Crease Tool also comes packaged with another tool called the…
Easy® Etch Tool
Yes, the Easy Crease and Easy Etch Tools come packaged together so you can enjoy double the craft potential! The Easy Etch Tool features a single pointed end that can engrave designs onto hard surfaces.

During our testing, we’ve found that the Easy Etch Tool works great when etching into wood, leather, acrylic, aluminum, brass, stainless steel, and vellum! This means you can create awesome personalized gifts like keychains, signs, jewelry, dog tags, and so much more!

Cutting Mats
Perhaps one of the greatest features of Romeo and Juliet is matless cutting! Yes, that means you can load common materials like HTV and EasyPSV right into the cutter without first having to stick it onto a cutting mat. However, there are some materials that DO require a cutting mat, like paper, cardstock magnet material, and others.
For these materials, we have not one, not two, but THREE different cutting mats to assist you!
The first one is a 12”x12” High Tack Cutting Mat that comes with every Romeo and Juliet. This mat is extra sticky to hold onto thicker materials like acrylic and faux leather. It’s also great for holding down HTV— including scraps that may too be small to load into the cutter on their own.

Now if you’re working with paper products, you’ll want to opt for the 12”x12” Light Tack Cutting Mat. As the name implies, this mat is a bit less sticky, so it won’t tear your papercrafts when you go to remove them after cutting. It’s also perfect for working with scraps of EasyPSV!

The third and final cutting mat is the 12”x24” High Tack Cutting Mat. This one has the same level of stickiness as the 12”x12” version but is twice as long! This makes it excellent for cutting larger projects or for when you want to cut several runs of the same cut file. You can even load this mat into Romeo horizontally thanks to his 25” cut area!

Roll Holders
Cutting mats work well for sheets and scraps, but what if you’re using rolls of material? Don’t worry, we’ve thought of that, too!
Siser also offers roll holders for when you need to feed continuous material into your cutters. There are 2 different roll holders available: one designed for Juliet and one for Romeo.
The Juliet Roll Holder is sold separately and features two stainless steel roller bars in a compact design that looks just like Juliet herself! This roll holder can handle all your 12” rolls of HTV and EasyPSV.

The Romeo Roll Holder on the other hand was designed without “sides”, meaning it’s capable of holding rolls up to 24” wide. Every Romeo cutter comes with this roll holder in the box, so you’re ready to “roll” from day 1!

Note: At the time of writing, the Romeo Roll Holder is not sold separately.
Universal Cutter Stand
Last but certainly not least on our accessories list is the Universal Cutter Stand! This economically engineered piece of furniture doesn’t just look sleek- it’s also incredibly functional.

Featuring built-in tool holders, removable shelves, adjustable roll holder wheels, and a metal cutting strip on the front, this stand is guaranteed to elevate your workflow. Oh, and my favorite part? There are absolutely NO TOOLS NEEDED for assembly!
We didn’t stop there though. We then took the extra material left behind from creating the stand and turned them into 3 material roll holder shelves and an accessory holder. Yes, that means you get 4 mini-stands as a bonus with the Universal Cutter Stand!

The Universal Cutter Stand looks and works beautifully with our Romeo and Juliet cutters, but it is also the perfect companion for other cutters too! Because here at Siser, we want to help you make your best work—no matter what brand you choose.
