12 May DIY Projects in Leonardo®
You know what they say: April showers bring May flowers. But did you know that May also brings some fresh new inspiration? Whether you’re trying to encourage the kids to go play outside or prepping for graduation, this month has a lot of crafting potential! So, without further ado, here are 12 May DIY Projects in Leonardo® Design Studio!
Graduation
#1: Graduation Card Box
May is graduation season, which means it’s time for graduates to collect those highly valuable cards! Make a handy collection box with cardboard, spray paint, and a bit of EasyPSV® Brushed!
#2: Beautiful Brain Grad Cap
Before the cards can be collected, a graduate has to… y’know… graduate! Walk across the stage in style with a beautiful grad cap decorated with a variety of Siser HTVs including EasyWeed® EcoStretch™, Twinkle™, EasyReflective®, and Glitter!
#3: Graduation Table Centerpiece
A graduation party should be all about the graduate, and that includes the decor! HTV and PSV collide in this custom table centerpiece project using cardstock, EasyWeed Electric, and EasyPSV Starling™!
Kid’s Activities
#4: DIY Pinwheel
When the nicer weather arrives, you’ll probably want to be spending more time outside with your kids. Keep them entertained with a fun papercraft pinwheel project!
#5: Portable Felt Checkerboard
Need a break from the physical activity when you’re at the park? Make a portable checkerboard with StripFlock Pro that you can easily fold up and take with you!
#6: Shooting Star Board Game Blanket
Taking your little ones out to a picnic? With a little bit of HTV, you can make that picnic blanket double as a board game for added fun after lunch!
Memorial Day
#7: Memorial Day Honor Ribbon
Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of the summer season. But more importantly, it’s a time to remember the heroes who gave their lives for their country. Honor them with an elegant, hand-crafted ribbon.
#8: Memorial Day Shadow Box
Do you have a loved one who served? Pay respects to them with a personalized shadow box decorated with PSV.
#9: “Remember” Poppy T-Shirt
Did you know that red poppies symbolize remembrance and consolation? Create a Memorial Day outfit in remembrance of our heroes using HTV.
Travel Season
#10: Personalized Leather Luggage Tag
May technically isn’t a summer month, but it does mark the unofficial start of travel season! Keep your luggage easily identifiable with a DIY leather tag made possible by using both EasyWeed and EasyWeed Adhesive!
#11: World Travel Laptop Case
Travelling in the digital age means bringing your trusty laptop with you while exploring the globe! Keep it safely packed with a decorated laptop case featuring both EasyWeed and Brick® 600.
#12: World Stamps Fanny Pack
I recently started travelling with a fanny pack and let me tell ya— it makes a huge difference compared to lugging around a backpack! Create your own travel fanny pack by decorating it with stamps of the countries you visit thanks to EasyWeed EcoStretch and EasyWeed Extra!
